Why do you think Macduff does not want to stay to celebrate Macbeth becoming king?

I think Macduff didn't show up to celebrate because I think he knows that Macbeth was kind of had second thoughts about him. I think he knows Macbeth killed the king to be king. And maybe Macbeth would try to kill Macduff and his son. 

Weakness

Who is weaker? Macbeth or Lady Macbeth?  Why

I think Lady Macbeth is weak now. At first I thought Lady Macbeth was a psycho setting Macbeth to kill a king he's closed with just to be in his throne. She was basically incouraging him to kill, she was saying something crazy. And now that she created this monster, the quilt takes over, and starts sleep walking and not righting her head. Now you tell me what you think? She went this crazy to weak but still crazy.

Describe the process you took to present your scene.  What went well? Not so well? What would you do differently next time you had to do a scene?

I think my group acting out the scene was actually good, knowing we are the best actors in school maybe. We could have done better, but we did better on our 6th try. I like the fact that we remembered our lines real quick. We would maybe be more serious, we're goofy, but that didn't stop us from when we act. I would want us to be better than the rest.

Discuss the question, what does it mean to be a “man”?  Do you agree with Lady Macbeth’s view? Or do you think Macbeth’s consideration is more “manly”?


Definition of being a man, is someone whose strong, brave, a protector, and someone who brings the bacon on the table. Lady Macbeth (psycho) trying to convince Macbeth to get in her scheme into killing the king to be out in the throne, because as soon as you the king dies Macbeth is king. So I definitely don't agree with Lady Macbeth, she's evil!!!!!

Discuss inaction. Is one less guilty of a crime if they let it happen but did not take an active role in it? Compare inaction to action---Are there levels of guilt?
If you was around or apart of the crime, and did not do anything but witness it you are guilty for letting it happened, or you witnessed it and got asked if you seen anything and lied, but later on they find out you was around you are getting punished for it.

What are the factors that influence how a director presents a scene? Why do you think different directors see things so differently? 

Different directors see differently because that's what they want the audience to either leave them thinking, maybe having them guessing who's going to be the killer just like those old horror movies. Every director haves his own point of views of how the movie. He/she wants to catch our attention and there's several ways, so every directors authors have different mind sets on books, or movies

          Duncan says, “There’s no art to find the mind’s construction in the face: / He was a gentleman on whom I built absolute trust.”

Is it ever possible to truly trust someone?  honestly i think it takes time to trust, even if you known someone for yearrs, that person can give your whole problems out there. Trust is someone you can tell everything or do anything in front of them, and wouldn't tell a soul to.

Do predictions come true because they were destined to come true, or because people make them happen because it was predicted (like a self-fulfilling prophesy)?                                          
I think predictions weren't made to be always true, it's your input on things, you can be either right or wrong. 50/100 chance of you actually being right. Or maybe you predict your going to drop 20 pounds by 2 weeks if you know you can that's an highly chance what you predict actually come true. See were I'm going with this.
